XSRF/CSRF due to DOM based XSS in the micro history feature
By deceiving a logged-in user to click on a crafted URL, it is possible to perform remote code execution and in some cases, create a root account due to a DOM based XSS vulnerability in the micro history feature.
We consider this vulnerability to be critical.
Versions 4.0.x (prior to 188.8.131.52), 4.1.x (prior to 184.108.40.206) and 4.2.x (prior to 220.127.116.11) are affected.
Upgrade to phpMyAdmin 18.104.22.168 or newer, or 22.214.171.124 or newer, or 126.96.36.199 or newer, or apply the patches listed below.
